Alien Enigma: The Crop Circles

Are we alone in this universe? What about the myths regarding aliens? Do they exist? And if they do, how do they look like?

All these questions remain unanswered till date. There is merely any solid proof of existence of any other life form except those on our planet earth. There might be rumors about any alien spaceship or a UFO or  a supernatural occurrence but how far is all that true! A finest example of such a rare phenomenon is a crop circle.

Crop Circles were first spotted in 1960s-1970s in Australia and Canada. Later on similar occurrences were spotted in England also. A Crop circle may be defined as a pattern due to flattening or bending of a wheat, maize, barley crop etc. Early speculation was that it was due some meteorological activity or wind blowing pattern. Later, two Hoaxers Doug Bower and Dave Chorley claimed that they made it by demonstrating the same but no true evidence was laid down.

At the beginning when investigations were done the farmers reported that they saw a hovering saucer shaped aircraft which was responsible for the formation of these crop circles. Now what about this aircraft was it just a myth or did it really happen! Many crop circles were found during the later-half of 20th century. Many different assumptions were made. Many modern day crop circles are considered man made as a part of recreation or it may also be a prank! People attempting to make these circles without the consent of concerned authority were punished by law due to the losses incurred. Beliefs such as a devil responsible for these crop circles also surfaced. Attempts were made to capture or record the formation of a crop circle but the matter of fact is that none happened when such an attempt was made!!Even certain videos uploaded on online video sharing portals are fake when it comes to such a phenomenon.

Crop circle enthusiasts tried to understand it from a different point of view and assuming it to be an alien marvel. They tried to decode or read messages hidden in these crop circles. Many different outcomes were shared which also included the prediction of Dooms day and how it is going to happen. Certain beliefs regarding the Mayan calendar according to which 20th December 2012 would be the last day of our planet and an apocalypse must take place on 21st of December 2012 proved wrong as we all know nothing happened. The same speculation was put forth by the crop circles also and certain researchers and believers say that the Doomsday will happen and it got postponed.

Today a practical person would hardly believe any supernatural existence or myths related to the same. Although on the other hand one cannot totally say that there is no such thing called Alien or UFO etc etc….the reason being these crop circles about which no one can be precise or 100% sure about the logic of its formation. Some of the questions raised in our mind about existence of species of any other world remain unanswered. The crop circles are one such unsolved puzzle. And after all this, we can say that the time is not very far when we may actually confront these so called aliens!

[…] randomheads No, crop circles aren’t the aliens’ way to communicate with us earthlings. Despite their out-of-this-world appearance, they’re simply the work of some tremendously talented–not to mention, bored–people who have no trouble creating such designs in a short amount of time using simple supplies like planks, rope, and wire.
