Moto G 3rd gen, 2015: Leaked specs, images and more…

Moto G 1st and 2nd generation were two of the most powerful mid-range devices, which managed to disrupt the entire mid-range mobile phone market. But in past few months Moto G had  been dethroned, an activity that can be attributed to a number of low and mid-range smartphones out there in the market. To list a few from the clan Yu Yureka, Yuphoria then we have Lenovo A6000, A6000 Plus and A7000. Adding to this we had numerous good phones from ASUS, Micromax and Xiaomi.

Recently, few images of Moto G 3rd gen had leaked online. Though the original source doesn’t exist anymore, we have managed to get the images from reposts. The leaked specs somehow confirm a 13MPx primary camera with a dual-led flash and a 5MPx front camera. But, Moto continues to use a 1GB RAM, while most of the competitive smartphones take up  a 2GB RAM as standard. On similar lines it has a 8/16GB internal storage while rivals are going in for 16GB or more. The phone will supposedly run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, and will have a 4.97in screen, with Android Lollipop 5.1.1 factory loaded. The expected price is around $180-$200.

We found this video on YouTube, though the authenticity cannot be established.

So considering the total package of the phone, Moto G 3rd Gen won’t be as impressive as it predecessors. Just a 13MPx camera won’t justify the offering price. If you are a stock enthusiast, you might go in for this smartphone, otherwise you have tons of other options available in the market which are either cheaper, better or both.
